Gary and Susan Matthews

Gary and Susan havebeen a part of the Fraser Valley and Abbotsford's growing community since their families relocated in the early 1970's. Abbotsford, British Columbia, is located just one hour east of Vancouver in the "hub" or the "cross roads of the Fraser Valley".

Prior to entering into real estate, Gary graduated from the University of British Columbia and had consulted as a geologist for mining exploration companies mainly in Western North America. Gary has traversed and explored many mountain ranges throughout the Yukon, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Washington, Alaska and Nevada. Susan has worked in administration with Vancouver based private corporations and government and has always enjoyed a fun 'people' environment.

They later moved to Calgary in the mid 1980's. Susan worked for Canada Customs downtown and at the Calgary airport, and Gary consulted for oil companies throughout Alberta and Northern British Columbia. Gary and Susan were also involved in property management as a secondary occupation and engaged a bit in real estate.

In 1989, Gary and Susan moved back 'home' to Abbotsford and continued on a different entrepreneurial avenue. They entered into the real estate profession in 1990. Today they continue to work together as 'The Matthews Team'. Gary, a real estate consultant, has primarily specialized in sales of residential homes, townhomes, condominiums and acreages, and has sold properties in all corners of the Fraser Valley. Susan, having been a realtor for many years, currently enhances and supports sales by managing all aspects of office administration and marketing.

In 2006, Gary and Susan made a very important leap by joining the Keller Williams Real Estate Family. As they became more and more involved with KW, it became very evident that this was no ordinary company. Keller Williams earned Gary and Susan's trust immediately by demonstrating it's high commitment and innovation to its valued associates.
